Join us for this 2 session workshop to slow down and get creative with your hands!
How does it work?
Session 1 Sunday Oct 25 (Duration 2 hours) : Clay workshop to build your own ceramic flower vase. Maria will guide you to learn hand-building techniques, no worries you don’t need any prior experience. All materials, firings and transparent glaze are included. Please wear clothes you don't mind getting clay on.
Session 2 Sunday Nov 15 (Duration 1 hour): Receive your flower vase fired, ready to be used! Min will guide you to create a beautiful arrangement of dried flowers that fits your vase for you to take home.
Both sessions will be held at Hølssi Studio in Belsize Park, 12 England’s Lane NW3 4TG. Please arrive 10 minutes early. If you're more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to fit in the full session. We will be having a morning (11 am) and an afternoon (2:30 pm) session.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What if I can’t join the second session? No worries, we can prepare a selection of dried flowers chosen by the florist for you to collect with your finished vase, so you can make the arrangement at home.
What if I book my slot but need to cancel? We understand agendas may change, this is our cancellation policy:
3 weeks before Oct 25 full refund, minus £4 (booking fees).
2 weeks before Oct 25: transfer your ticket to a friend, or a 50% refund.
Under 7 days before: no refund, but you can transfer your ticket to someone else. Just let us know their name.
About firing (please read) Your vase is hand-built in clay and fired in a kiln between sessions. Firing is a natural process, and there is a small risk (low, but real) that a piece can crack, warp, chip or come out with a different glaze finish than expected. This can happen even with careful making. We take steps to minimise it, but we can't guarantee any piece will survive firing
If your vase is damaged in firing We'll tell you as soon as we know. You'll get a replacement vase from our stock to decorate at Session 2 . We can't offer a refund for the ceramics part beyond this, because the risk is part of the craft.

Workshop is for ages 18+.
Date: Sunday Nov 1 - 11:30 am to 1 pm.
Create your own mug/bowl using pinching hand building techniques. Includes all materials and tools, guidance, firings and transparent glaze. We will fire and glaze the piece for you. Collection will be available 4 weeks later.
If you need to cancel, no worries just keep these timelines in mind 😊
• Cancellations made 2 weeks in advance receive a 80% refund.
• Cancellations made 1 week in advance receive a 50% refund.
• Unfortunately, cancellations less than 1 week before are non-refundable.
